Introduction How to Play Credits
Ruins of Kal Raman is a 7DRL about exploration and tactical combat.
After a long travel, done mostly during the mornings and evenings, to avoid the peaks of the desert heat and cold, you have finally reached the ruined city of Kal Raman
You make camp inside one of the ruins, under the shade of long forgotten stone walls, eroded by the desert wind until only rubble remains
As many adventures before you, you are now ready to embark" on your quest to uncover the misteries that lies below the Ruins of Kal Raman

You can use three slots to store your progress: select one of the empty slots or one of the saved ones.
If you are starting a new game you will be asked to name your character and select a class and sex for him/her.
Depending on the class you will be asked to select a trait for your character. Read the description on the right to help your choice.
This is the main area of the game, a place inside the ruins of the fabled city of Kal Raman.
From Here you can click on:
Inside a dungeon you can click on one of the doors/stairs to go from one room to another, by bringing up the contextual menu.
If you click on your character you can escape the dungeon by leaving behind your loot. When you have vanquished all the foes inside a dungeon the command changes in abandon, you are then free to leave whitout losing any loot.
You can also just click around to stretch your legs.
Pressing space will cause the game to stop.
When foes are in the same room as your the game will auto pause.
By clicking on them you will begin assaulting them with you basic attack.
If you want to use one of your "activation" traits just take a look at the menu on the right: here all the usable traits are marked with a number, just press the number on the keyboard to activate a trait.
Using high level traits consume energy, and after a while you will no longer be able to use traits. The higher the trait level the more energy is consumed.
The combat is over if you die or if you vanquish all your foes. Inside every dungeon, in the last chamber, you will find a boss: beat him and you will be rewarded.
Things to remeber
When leaving a dungeon after killing all the enemies you will be granted a new trait.
Three trait level exists, you will gain 3 level one traits, then 2 level two traits and finally one third level trait.
What happens after you have all the traits is up to you to discover.
You cannot get all the traits for every class in a single run, experiment new combinations and classes!
